James is a yoga teacher, a life enthusiast, and a lover of change. When he’s not balancing people on his hands and feet, you can find him balancing the other three things he holds most dear: family, food, and fun.
James fell in love with yoga after suffering a series of sports injuries in 2013. While completing physical therapy, he stumbled into his first yoga class searching for a space to heal–the rest is history. James completed his RYT-300 teacher training at Yoga Den less than a year later, his Acro Yoga teacher training a year after that, and has been teaching ever since. In sharing his passion for yoga, he hopes to inspire others to find and follow their own.
Karey is a 500 hour certified yoga instructor, Pilates teacher, world traveler, & lover of life! A genuine and passionate fitness professional, she loves what she does and it shows. Karey’s passion for movement and fitness started at a young age. She traveled extensively competing in gymnastics & cheerleading competitions until 2007 when she moved to Jacksonville. In 2012, she obtained her RYT200 from Yoga Den and she just returned in April 2017 from a seven week journey to Southeast Asia for a 300 hour training on Koh Samui, Thailand with Bryce Yoga, Mathieu Boldron, and Claudine and Honza Lafond of ACROVINYASA. Karey has refined her practice and teaching style to fuse her love of Pilates/yoga, acrobatics, anatomy, and alignment with the power of core centric & breathe based movement. She is a unique and versatile teacher who believes in a lighthearted and anatomical approach that makes the practice accessible and fun.
